Lynn Blakewood Landers, age 80, was called home to be with her Savior on October 26, 2025, in Birmingham, Alabama, after a brief battle with cancer and complications from a fall. Born on November 25, 1944, in Savannah, Georgia, she was the cherished daughter of Harry Byron Blakewood and Eloise Baughmann Blakewood.
She is survived by her beloved twin sons, Robert James Landers (Carolyn) of Dallas, Texas, and Roderick Scott Landers (Melinda) of Birmingham, Alabama. Lynn was also a proud grandmother to three boys: Sam Landers (Courtney) of Ringgold, GA, Scott Landers of Hamden, CT, and Connor Landers of Houston, TX.
In addition, she is survived by her brother, Steven Andrew Blakewood (Carmen) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Aunt Sara Ann Noll of Leonia, NJ, Niece Ginny Blakewood Brocksmith (James) of as well as a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lynn's family will hold a memorial service to celebrate her life at a later date in 2026.
