Mallory Gates Carper

Mallory Carper of Mountain Brook passed away on September 8, 2016. Mallory attended the Bell Center, Brookwood Forest Elementary School, Mountain Brook Junior High and High School. Mallory had an infectious smile and was never seen without one. She loved people and animals, and they in turn, loved her. She enjoyed scuba diving, water skiing, snow skiing and participating in all activities at the Lakeshore Foundation. Mallory had a deep faith in the Lord which carried her throughout her life. She had a full heart which was evident in all ways - in the kindness she shared, the joy she brought and the gifts she gave. She was an inspiration to everyone. Mallory was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Johnson. She is survived by her parents Jan and Charlie Carper, her brother Charles Carper, her nephew Hunter Carper, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Carper, special friend Brad Lawler, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be Monday, September 12 at 2:00pm with the service to follow at 3:00pm at Canterbury United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Magic City Harvest, 3735 Messer Airport Highway, Birmingham, Alabama 35222 or Adaptive Aquatics Facility, 1473 Paradise Cove Lane, Wilsonville, Alabama 35186.
