Margaret Ann (Lambert) Crumpton, born April 21, 1939 went to meet her personal Savior and friend Jesus Christ on February 29, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents Ellis & Ruby Lambert & brother Ellis Lambert, Jr. (Faye). She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, John Wayne Crumpton, brothers Danny (Cathy), David, & Charles (Carolyn) Lambert, daughters Renee Ambrose, Marilyn (Ken) Carbonie, granddaughters Angela (John) Holley, Meagan (Josh) Horton, Kendall Carbonie, & Mary Klaire Carbonie, & great-grandchildren Mary Addison & Sam Holley.
Margaret served 32 years as secretary at Philadelphia Baptist Church, and was a blessing to everyone she knew. She selflessly served others and made sure everyone she came in contact with knew who her Jesus was. She will be missed deeply but there is no doubt that she is rejoicing with her Heavenly Father, and she will hear what we all should want to hear one day: “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
