Marilyn B Allen

Marilyn Ash Brown Allen, age 86, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. She was born December 6, 1938, in Birmingham, Al. She attended The University of Alabama where she was a proud member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Bradley Gayle Brown and Margaret Evelyn Ash Brown and her siblings Bradley Gayle Brown, Jr., and Peggy Gayle Brown Mask.

She is survived by her three sons whom she raised in Sylacauga, Al., Brad Allen of Rockford, Al., Todd Allen of Houston Tx., and Wes Allen (Bonnie Cook) of Dallas, Tx., and her granddaughter, Maggie Cook-Allen.

Marilyn was an avid gardener, and she loved her community and all her friends at Galleria Woods where she resided for many years.

A Visitation for Marilyn will be Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Ridout's Valley Chapel 1800 Oxmoor Road Homewood, Al 35209 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation 733 Third Avenue, Suite 510 New York, NY 10017|crohnscolitisfoundation.org
