Marilyn Klyce Cook, age 90, passed away on August 28th, 2018 peacefully in her sleep at home. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ted Cook, Sr, sisters Katherine Fullerton and Cornelia Stallings,brothers John Klyce and William Klyce, and grandson, Jeffrey Crockett. She is survived by her three children, Terri Channell, Donna Speir, and Ted Cook,Jr (Margaret). Grandchildren John Crockett, Steven Speir, Katie Speir, Ted Parker Cook, and Matthew Cook. Great grandchildren Donovan Speir and Lyn Speir. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Marilyn will be missed by family, friends, and all who knew her. Her servant's heart, selfless manner, kind spirit, unconditional love, and beautiful smile will be cherished forever. Family would like to thank Alacare Hospice and Felicia Knight. Visitation will be Friday, August 31st at 10am at Ridout's Valley Chapel on Oxmoor Road. Funeral service will follow at 11am. Reid Crotty officiating.
