Mark Jordan Christie

Mark will be remembered as a loving and dedicated father who shared with his son Lawson his indelible sense of fun, adventure, and kindness. He was beloved by his family and leaves behind Lawson’s mother Erica Christie, his sister Madelyn Christie, his brothers Marshall Christie and Matthew Christie, and his nieces Anne Romberg York and Virginia York. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Linda Christie.

Mark found joy and brought so much joy to others with his many passions in life. He was a talented chef who made tremendous contributions to Birmingham’s finest restaurants. Mark also loved music and traveled throughout the country spending time with friends and hearing performances by the many artists whose songs brought him so much happiness.

There will be a remembrance of his life for family and friends at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark in Birmingham on Friday November 3rd at 2:00pm. Please enter at the main gate, 20 32nd St. N.,
