Martha was a long time member of Highland United Methodist Church. She work as a legal secretary for Burr and Forman many years until her retirement, after which she enjoyed being a volunteer at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
Martha was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob George and is survived by her, brother-in-law David E. George (Bunnie) and sister-in-law Linda G. Ball (Floyd); nieces Karen Coalson ( Tim) , Marcia G. White (Scott), Mallory Thornton (Daniel),Nephews Ken Morris (Joy), Michael Ball, and several great nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Martha will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Ridout's Valley Chapel, 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL 35209, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Martha may be made to The Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
