

Born in Birmingham, Alabama on October 10, 1944, she was the twin daughter of the late Jack L. Rabb and Ovia Walker Rabb.
An active member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Martha was a graduate of Auburn University where she earned her degree in education. She then served as a second-grade elementary school teacher for 28 years at Rolling Hills Elementary School in Huntsville, Alabama. Martha enjoyed traveling and she loved working in her yard and taking long walks in the Edgewood area of Homewood.
She is survived by her twin brother, Jim Rabb (Jan) and by her nephew, Jason Rabb. She is also survived by many cousins and dear friends who will miss her very much.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation and reception being held on Friday, the 2nd of May, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood. Funeral services will commence at 1:00 p.m. at Ridout’s Valley Chapel with burial immediately following in Birmingham’s Historic Elmwood Cemetery.
Martha gave generously to many charities and organizations and would prefer that you direct any memorial contributions in her name to a charity or cause important to you.
