Martha Anne Weaver Robertson

Martha Anne Weaver Robertson , age 82, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama passed away on April 30, 2018.She was a 1954 graduate of Fairfield High School, employed by Fairfield Board of Education for over 25 years, retiring as a comptroller. Martha was a member of First Baptist Church of Birmingham. She was also a true avid Alabama football fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. Weaver, Sr. and Mildred Marsh Weaver, and her granny, Eva Marsh DuPree. She is survived by her brother, James H. Weaver, Jr. The family would like to acknowledge and thank our dear friends and caregiver Dorothy Brown, Christy Monk, Esther O’Brien and Linda Phillips. The service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Ridout’s Valley Chapel 1800 Oxmoor Road Homewood, AL 35209. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM. The funeral will begin at 2:00PM. Dr. Jim Cooley officiating with interment at Valhalla Cemetery, Bessemer Super Highway, Birmingham, Alabama. In Lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Alabama Baptist Children’s Home or a charity of your choice. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Until we meet again.
