Mary T Bradford

Mary Anne Taylor Bradford saw her Savior face to face Saturday January 3, 2026. She went peacefully in the hospital after the flu had turned to double pneumonia. She was born September 15, 1937 to Peggy Ard Taylor and Fred Henry Taylor, Sr.

She was preceded in death by both her parents and her only brother Fred Henry Taylor, Jr. She is survived by Tom Bradford, her adoring husband of 66 ½ years, her children Peggy Bradford, Jim Bradford (Carolyn), and Bill Bradford (Denise); her 7 grandchildren Bradford Evens (Mallory), David Evens (Kristen), Mitch Bradford (Britney), Holly Nichols (Brad), Miller Bradford (Sarah), Haley Held (Sam) and Will Bradford; her 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Anne grew up in Birmingham and attended Shades Valley High School. She than graduated from Mary Baldwin College in 1959. While there she started dating Tom Bradford and they were married July 24, 1959. Mary Anne and Tom both prayed to receive Christ in May of 1966. They became long time members of Briarwood Presbyterian Church. Mary Anne had the gift of hospitality and was always eager to open their home for Bible Studies, Church dinners, Missionaries, and more. Her favorite type of ministry was mentoring young women. She truly lit up a room when she walked in!

There will be a Memorial Service Wednesday January 7, 2026 at 2:00pm at Briarwood Presbyterian Church with visitation to follow in the lobby.
