Mary Lorraine Broderick, 76, passed away peacefully on May 19th, after a private but hard fought battle with a very aggressive form of cancer. Lorraine was a kind hearted and giving person, always had a smile on her face and lived her life helping others. Lorraine's Catholic faith was extremely important to her and she believed everything was in God’s hands. Lorraine worked most of her professional career at Southern Natural Gas in the MIS Department. After retiring, Lorraine took care of her Mother for years until she passed away.
Lorraine loved sports, watching them on TV, talking about them or attending events. She loved spending time with her friends and neighbors in Panama City. Lorraine just loved being around people. Last but not least, Lorraine loved her dog Daisy, who provided wonderful companionship and countless hours of walking. Sincere appreciation goes to the Bruno Cancer Center, UAB PCCU and Helping Hands, especially the kind hearted and loving assistance of Maureen O’Donnell, Gloria, Crystal, Chevell, Willie Mae, Rosie and Andrea.
