Mary G. Foote

peacefully surrounded by her family July 20, 2015. She was born in

Thomaston, Alabama. She graduated from Marengo County High

School and Samford University School of Nursing.She attended

Covenant Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed her Bible Study

group. One of her favorite pass times was playing bridge and

spending time with her great grandchildren.

For many years she was an Occupational Nurse at Hayes

International and Pemco Aeroplex.

She was preceded in death by her parents Margaret Allen Glass and

Joseph Clark Glass. Her husband Cecil Gaines Foote Sr. and her son

Cecil Gaines Foote Jr., sister Margaret Clay Curtis and son in law

Jerry Walker Miklic. She is survived by her daughters Martha Foote

Miklic(Jerry), Brownie Payne(James) and Carleen Ozley (Ralph).

Grandchildren, Jason Miklic, Scott Miklic (Margaret) and Mara Miklic

Mat Richardson(Pam) Mary Catherine Roche(Matt) Melissa

Wallace(Jason) Christina Jackson (Mike) Jonathan Foote and 14

great grandchildren. A special thanks to the generous care given by

Brookdale Nursing Home staff and Southeast Hospice nurses.

Graveside services Thursday, July 23 at 10:00 am at Elmwood

Cemetery. Reverend Patrick Friday officiating.
