Mary Ann George

She had five brothers and three sisters who are deceased and is survived by two sisters, Katherine Boackle of Charleston , SC and Lucille Shalhoub of Burbank , CA.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, A.B. George of Birmingham.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy George Mezrano (Louis) and Anita George Pilato (William) and four grandchildren , Michelle Mezrano James (Tom), Jason Mezrano (Stacey),

Matthew Pilato (Amie) and Natalie Pilato Andrews (Kenny) and 3 great grandchildren, Devin and Peyton James and Luke Pilato. She Is survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

She was a “giver and a doer,” no one ever left her home empty handed. She was an excellent homemaker and the “heart and soul” of her family. Her passion was playing bridge and she was a tournament champion not to mention an outstanding cook. She was a long time member of St George Byzantine Melkite Catholic Church where she was an active member producing many church fundraising dinners over the years.

Funeral Services will be at St George Melkite Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday , March 13 frtom 5 – 7 PM and Funeral Mass on Wednesday , March 14 at 10 AM.
