

Mike Joseph Lorino, Sr. passed away peacefully on February 11, 2018. He was born November 28, 1921, son of Gaetano and Rosalia. Mike, better known as Daddy, Granddaddy, Poppa, Uncle Mickey, Brother-in-law, "Big Mick", was a World War II veteran who served under General Patton. His favorite thing to do was tell stories about the war.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Mary Ann Contri Lorino; brothers Vincent, Pete, and Anthony Lorino; and sisters Stella Lorino and Frances Salamone. He is survived by his sisters Marie Lorino and Joann Guarino; children Gaeton (Mary Ann), Rocco (Aleria), Mike (Bonnie), and Rosalie (Joey) Molay; 10 grandchildren, Michelle, Jennifer (Neil), Gaeton (Elizabeth), David, Matthew, John (Mary), Marena (Taylor), Mary Catherine, Mary Grace and Michael; 5 great-grandchildren: Anna, Sal, Caroline, Marla, and Mia, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was greatly loved by so many and will be missed by all that knew him.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 13 at 9:30 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
