Mitzie Hall

Mitzie Helen Frances Hall died February 19 , 2022. She was the daughter of James Glenn Hall and Frances Day Hall. Her parents and both her sisters, Glenice Hall Anderson and Clara Hall Baskett predeceased her. She is survived by five nephews and two nieces.

She attended Mountain Brook Grammar School, Ramsay High School, Brook Hill, Goucher College and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was one of only five women In her graduating class of 200. She continued her education at New York University.

For twenty one years she lived in New York City while working for J. P. Morgan where she was a department head. Upon returning to Birmingham she was employed by Compass Bank from which she retired a Vice President.

She enjoyed her membership in Mountain Brook Club, The Club and The Highland Book Club. She was eligible on both sides of her family for the Colonial Dames and DAR.

Services will be private and donations can be made to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
