Mohammad was not only devout to his faith, but also a very Godly man.
Although quiet and reserved, his love, care, kindness, and support for his family and friends spoke volumes. He was a wonderful son, bother, husband, father, and grandfather whom we all loved so very much. It is with heavy hearts we return him home, where we know he will always be watching over us. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Wanda K. Afzali; Brother Hamid; Uncle Ahmad; Nephews Reza, and Amir; Daughters Anitra and Sherie; and Grandchildren Joseph, Maxwell, Madelyn, and Hudson.
Services were held privately for the family. Services were under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel (205-879-3401) in Homewood.
