Norma Jean Kowalski

Norma Jean Kowalski born to V.O. and Bertha Florence on March 1, 1938, in Birmingham, AL. She retired from Southern Natural Gas Company with over 40 years of service. She was a long time member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church and then Church on the Bluff more recently. She played an active role in the Homewood Prime Timers Association. She loved to travel and read.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 29 years, Robert (Bob) Kowalski and parents, V.O. and Bertha Florence. Survived by sisters Judy (Mac) McCollum and Virgie Jones; step children Pat Kowalski, William Kowalski, Lori Newell and Joy (Barry) Kuerner; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews; sisters-in-laws Marlene (Dan) Radovich and Jean Kowalski. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are cordially invited to a visitation Wednesday, March 4, from 12-1:00 pm at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood, AL followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial will be In Houghton, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Church on the Bluff or Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.
