Patsy was born in 1953 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. In 1966, the Jamison family moved to Pelham, New York. Shortly after graduating from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, in 1974, Patsy moved to New York City, where she began working for EF Hutton. This began a long and successful career in the financial industry, which included working for Prudential Securities, 30 years with Wells Fargo Investments, and most recently, Sterne Agee, Stifel, and INTL FCStone in Birmingham.
Pat loved all things British, and she was an avid follower of Queen Elizabeth II and everything about the royal family. She loved sports, especially the Olympic Games, football (“Roll Tide!”), and baseball (“Go Yanks!”). Pat enjoyed traveling, especially with her sister, Jane, and she was a voracious reader.
She will be remembered as a devoted and loving daughter and sister, as well as being known as a generous and caring person by all her friends and family.
Patsy is survived by: her sister, Jane of Richmond, Virginia; brother, Dan, and his two sons, Gerald and Nicholas, also of Richmond; and her brother and brother-in-law, Andy and Bruce Jamison-LeGere of Portland, Oregon. She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Jamison of Sheffield, England, and her father, Gerald Jamison of Bangor, Northern Ireland.
A service will be held in Richmond on a date yet to be determined.
