Patricia Ray O'Donnell Kren

A loving Mother and Sister, she was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church where she served in several capacities including Cantor and Eucharistic minister. She very much loved her family, the church and especially her Son and Daughter. She was a graduate of John Carroll High School as well as Birmingham Southern College. She enjoyed golfing and tennis in her earlier years and was very involved with the Church during her retirement years. She very much loved music, dancing, travel and great food. Professionally she worked as a Registered Nurse and Medical Technologist at St. Vincent's Medical System, and was co-owner of Kren Tire Company, Inc.

Visitation at St. Barnabas will be held at 9:00am – 10:00am Saturday, September 15th 2012 with a prayer service followed by the Funeral Mass Service at 10:00am, Saturday, September 15th, 2012 at St. Barnabas Church. Rev Michael Wrigley and Rev Monsignor Eugene O’Connor officiating. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by Johnnie Joseph Kren Sr, Husband; Patrick Stephen O’Donnell, Father; and Irma Ray O’Donnell, Mother

Survivors include, Son, John Joseph Kren Jr. (Michelle), Jackson Wyoming; Daughter, Patricia O’Donnell Kren, Birmingham, Al; Brothers, William Joseph O’Donnell (Emily), Birmingham, Al; Michael Patrick O’Donnell (Donna), Foley Al; Stephen Francis O’Donnell, Birmingham, Al; John Patrick O’Donnell (Sandy), Austin, Tx: and Cousin, Peggy Taylor (Clovis), Knoxville, Tn; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Barnabas School endowment fund. Ridout’s Homewood Chapel is directing.
