Patsy was born on March 15,1936 to the late James and Roberta Carroll. A Birmingham Native Patsy was a resident of Homewood for 44 years and worked as a legal secretary for 35 years. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Sorrows where she worked in the parish and its school as an assistant for 5 years. She had a charitable heart and made many wonderful friends during her life.
Patsy is survived by her children: Lisa Anne Light, Michael Arthur Light, and Kevin Thomas Light; her grandchildren: Christopher Thomas Light, Elizabeth Ashley Light, Mariah Rose Light, David Andrew Light and Stephen Michael Light.
The family will receive friends at North Park Baptist Church in Trussville on Saturday, September 19, 2020 beginning at 10am with the Memorial service at 11am.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to Homewood, Pinson or Jefferson County first responders.
