Mr. Buchanan was always so nice to us (Sharon's friends) when we were growing up and having fun with our music while having spend-the-night parties at their house. Back in high school, he generously let Sharon have his credit card to buy gas for her convertible so we could ride around and listen to oldies on the radio...what wonderful memories. He was also very humble...I had no idea of all of his wonderful accomplishments until reading his obituary. Truly a fine Southern gentleman who is well-remembered.
Sharon, you and all your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Margaret Smith
