The two greatest things that can be said are: 1) Phil was loved and 2) he will be greatly missed by all.  To be missed is to be remembered.  And memories keep him alive with us on earth.
May all the fond memories of Phil sustain us until we meet again.

Phil was my corporate security partner for years. He was the calm in every crazy storm. I was always so thankful for him and his wisdom and dry sense of humor that always seemed to ease whatever situation we were handling. I am deeply saddened by his passing. However, the good he was in the world and the testimony of his life will always live on in everyone that knew him.

I've known Phil since the late 70's and have worked with him at two different organizations. Phil appeared to be shy but he was witty and funny, Phil was always one that everyone loved and respected.  Phil, Sheri, myself and many others would play pool at the Upside Down Plaza. Sheri typically one, Great memories.

To Sheri, Patsy and Peggy, I love you guys. Along with Phil I've learned much from each of you. 

To the children and grandchildren. What a great man was your father and grandfather.  I have worked with every one of the Holbert family.

He was just an awesome man. I enjoyed working along side him as our security contact. He was always willing to help and was so knowledgeable. But most importantly he was always joyful. He didn't even mind me renaming him FHIL one time during a meeting. He always put up with my crazy antics.

what a good man went to be with the Lord on Sunday…I worked with Phil for a number of years …he was a  class act…he represented  his employer extremely well…and was respected  by all who he came  in contact with from all quarters…he will be sorely missed by his family and many friends he influenced along his life’s journey…RIP MY GOOD FRIEND ,YOU HAVE SURELY EARNED IT

Words are so difficult to come up with at a time like this. Just know that my heart goes out to you, Sheri, and your children. I know that the Lord and your unwavering faith will see you through this and that you will be reunited with Phil for eternity one day.

My heart is sad to hear this news.  So many memories of our times as kids running around the neighborhood we grew up in.  My thoughts and prayers are with Phil’s wife and children as well as Patsy and Peggy and the entire family.  May God’s Peace and Comfort cover all of you.
