Phyllis Traywick Powell, 76, of Hoover, died December 15 at her home. She is survived by her husband, Win Powell, sons David McCrorie (Rachel) of Hoover, and Phillip McCrorie (Kathy) of Atlanta and daughter Stacy McCrorie Dorsten (Jim) of Mountain Brook, and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be at Riverchase Baptist Church from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, December 18. A service will be held Friday, December 19, at 11:00 AM at Riverchase Baptistv Church. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery in Montevallo.
