I received my alumni news today and saw Ray listed in the memorials... I went to UAB with Ray from 1988-1992 and we all became a family in our class, whether we wanted to or not as we spent 40 hrs a week together. Ray was a truly genuine person and kind at heart. I am proud to say we went to dental school together and were instant friends. Once we graduated we put our Dr. hats on and went to work and rarely spoke after graduation and that saddens me as he was taken from us way too early. Ray my friend you will truly be missed.

My heart broke when I heard of the death of Dr.Tso. He was my dentist for over 20 years. Kind, gentle, always concerned, he also laughed with me, asked about my family, treated me like a friend, not just a patient. I will forever miss him.

I worked with Dr. Tso when I was a Regional Coordinator for the Dental Practice-Based Research Network. Dr. Tso was one of the first practitioners to sign up to do the studies. He and his staff were wonderful people to work with.

Ray, Perron Tucker, and I were in a rotation group together at UAB School of Dentistry 1988-1992. I have many fond memories of Ray. He drove really fast and was always smiling. He seemed to have no bad side. I extend sad sympathy to his family and these beautiful words from Paul to the church at Rome,
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:'For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.' No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
Goodbye to a really great guy.
