Rev. Bill ( Mr. Bill) Eugene Cross

September 26, 1946. He was a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a Vietnam veteran and served his

country proudly. He served our Lord in the ministry for over 50 years. Most recently, he was minister at Wilkes Baptist Church in Midfield, Alabama.

Everybody that knew him knew of his love for his God, family and humor. Bill was preceded by his dad, Sidney Eugene Cross, his mother, Odelle Rhodes Cross, and brother, Bob Hulon.Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Martha Grantham Cross, daughter,

Tammy Cross Jarrell, son, Scottie Eugene Cross, grandchildren, Nathaniel “Bradee” Pelfrey and Kailee Ann Lusk, sister, Mary Faye Austin, and several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Wilkes Baptist Church in Midfield, Alabama with the memorial service following at 12:00. The committal service will be at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama at 2:45 p.m. Dr. Charles Ballew will

be officiating the services with the assistance of Rev. Steve Jones. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or

American Diabetes Association.
