

Born in Scottsboro, Alabama on August 10, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert Lewis Bridges and Louise Bohannon Bridges. He was a graduate of Scottsboro High School and after graduating, he was drafted into the United States Army where he served our country in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by two daughters, Heather Bridges (Davey McCoy) of Gadsden, Alabama, and Lindsey Bridges Reeves of Birmingham, Alabama; two stepdaughters, Kapi Farrell (Ryan) of Homewood and Keri Dismukes (Chris) of Michigan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Anna Claire Armstrong, William Armstrong, Mari Hayden Reeves, Mary McRae Farrell, Ellison Farrell; sister, Sharon Bridges of Scottsboro and several nieces and nephews.
Bobby worked for years in Tarrant at Tarrant Hydraulics and then for National Mill Maintenance where he retired. He loved spending time with friends and family at the lake having a good time performing karaoke and being the DJ.
