

Robert (Bob) F. Wyrick, Jr., 95, died on July 20, 2026. He was born in Huntsville, AL, and was raised in Knoxville, TN. He was a star basketball player at Central High School and served his country as active Air Force and Marine Corps Reserves. After working for the FBI in Washington, D.C. for several years, he made his career in insurance. He worked for Nationwide and retired from State Farm Insurance.
Bob was known for his kindness, his sense of humor and his great love of everything University of Tennessee.
Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Elise Willing Wyrick, and his son, Bobby Wyrick. Also preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Wyrick, and his sisters and brothers-in-law Betty Chichester(Bob), Phyllis Caughran (Bennett), and Kathryn Nave (Tom).
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jeanette Milton Wyrick, daughters Cindy (Jim) Rowan, Shari DiChiara; grandchildren Shiloh (Billy) DiChiara, Joseph DiChiara, and Brennan (Corinne) DiChiara. He is also survived by great- grandchildren Ellie Macke, Ana Oliver, Aiden DiChiara, and a new baby on the way in October and a number of nieces and nephews.
Bob was an active member of St. Elias Maronite Church and the Cedars Phoenician Club.
Visitation will be at St. Elias Maronite Church beginning at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:00am. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery followed by a Mercy Meal at the church,

The family would like to thank the staff of Compassus Hospice and wonderful caregivers Cheryl Hill, Andre Washington, Sally Jackson, and Antonio Bryant for their care and concern over the last several months.
