RoseMarie Ritz

Richard W Ritz, married for 71 years. Loving mother of Donna (late Joe) Olszewski, Debbie

(Dominic) Irvin, Richard (Tamara) Ritz Jr., Diane (late Gary) Baribeau, David Ritz, and Denise

(Donald Jr.) Holsomback. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Charles and Rose

Keenan, and by her siblings, Charles Keenan Jr., Margaret Berg, John Keenan, George

Keenan, James Keenan, and Francis Keenan. In addition to her husband and children, she is

survived by her 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandkids, and many nieces and nephews.

After growing up in East Rockaway, NY, RoseMarie spent her years as a Navy wife, living in 7

different states and 2 countries while raising her six kids. She was known for throwing dinner

parties, loved playing bridge, and reading a good book. RoseMarie was an outstanding

seamstress and an amazing cook. She was also a great shopper who loved going out with her

kids and grandkids.

RoseMarie was a lifelong Catholic and enjoyed being part of her many different parish families

throughout the years. In her final years she was a faithful EWTN viewer. She is now resting

peacefully with all those that have gone before her.

Visitation will be July 1, 2025 10-11am at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Montevallo,

AL. Funeral will follow at 11am. Burial at 12:30 at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
