Stanley "Pop" Gurak passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012. He was born on April 3, 1923 in Scranton, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Catherine Gurak; brother, Michael Gurak and sister, Jo Steier. Mr Gurak retired as vice president of Jim Walter Corporation and president of U.S. Pipe and Foundry Co. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn "Ebby" Gurak. H eis also survived by his son, Dutchie Gurak (Marsha); daughters, Stacie Galbraith (Randy) and Christy Wald (Maury). He is survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild who lovingly knew him as "Pop", Billy Gurak, Julie Gurak, Marianne Gurak, Jake Galbraith (Christie and John Morris), Stan Galbraith, Carly Galbraith,Tommy Wald (Mindy), Jordan Wald and Eve Wald.
