Suzanne Woody

Suzanne was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 29, 1939. She graduated from John Carroll High School, class of 1957 and met her husband while attending Aurora College in Aurora, Illinois. She married Leroy Woody in 1961, and they raised a family of five in Mountain Brook, AL. She was active in The Junior League, The Cherry Blossom Garden Club, The Alea Club, Civiettes, her local bridge club and many other social and service related activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark Greeley Sr and Maxine Rice Greeley, her husband Leroy Woody, and her sister Sharon Stockham. She is survived by her five children; Deanna McCabe, Bill Woody (Beth), Michael Woody (Sharon), Mark Woody, and Susan Woody (Yeatts Jones), and grandchildren Brandon McCabe, Mason McCabe (Karli Buckner), Allison McCabe, Jordan Woody, Kendall Woody, Matthew Woody, Johnathan Woody, and Emily Woody. Also survived by her sisters Marcia Butz (Ray), Sally Gerry(Mike), her brother Mark Greeley (Leigh) sister in-laws Lucille Martin (Ellis), Merilyn Stone, Doris Province (Bill), Connie Horvath (Al) and brother in-law Gary Woody and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood, Alabama. A visitation will be held at 9:30 AM with services at 10:00 AM.
