Sybil R. Duncan passed away on August 30, 2015. Our mother lived and loved life with much enthusiasm. She cherished her family who were foremost in her life. Mom’s love of travel and books took her on many adventures that she generously shared with others. She had an unforgettable, brilliant smile and was loved by all that knew her.
She is survived by her children: Cindy Parker, Staley King (Steve), John Duncan (Paula), and Brook Robinson (Patrick); her grandchildren: Morgan Beard (Jeremy), Callie Parker, Connor Parker, Zoe Duncan; and her great grandson: Keaton Parker. Also left to treasure her memory are her sisters: Joyce Rucker, Janice Williams and Gloria Rucker.
The family will host a celebration of Mrs. Duncan's life at Ridout’s Valley Chapel on Wednesday, Sept. 2nd from 5 until 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Sybil Duncan may be made to the US National Park Service.
