
Tommy loved Auburn football and could often be found at Jordan Hare in the fall. He loved watching movies and had an impressive collection. Tommy was employed at the Hilton Garden Inn at Liberty Park.
Tommy was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond Idland, Gladys Idland and Bob Smith.
Tommy will be missed by all who loved and knew him and especially by the love of his life “Jack” his dog. He survived by his parents Betty Lou and Roger Idland, his sister, Allyson Maddox (Shane); his grandmother, Betty L. Idland all of Hoover; nieces Hope and Martha Grace, nephew Gabriel and his dog Jack. Also are a host of aunts and uncles: Jenelle Andrews(James of Pensacola, FL, Shirlene Jones (Perry) of high Point, NC, Raylene Moulton (Tim) of Seale, AL Donna Dennard of Lawrenceville, GA , Glenna Bagwell (Bob) of Pittsburgh, CA, Randy Idland of Phenix City, AL, Ronald Idland (Nancy) of Greenville, Al and Darold Idland (Marsha) of Smith, Al and numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends at Mountain Chapel united Methodist Church Friday, February 26, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the memorial Service following at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial gifts be made to American Heart Associations.
