Thomas V. Kirkley, 60 of Irondale, AL, a cherished son, brother and friend to many, left us to be with our lord and savior on September 11th 2026. Tommy was born on March 24th, 1966 in Irondale, AL, where he graduated from Shades Valley High School. He was a long time loyal employee of Allsouth Fabricators, where he made lifelong friendships and memories. He was a member of the Bassmaster Fisherman’s Club which represented his love of fishing. Tommy was also a member of the biker club, The Faith Riders.
Tommy was preceded in death by his loving parents, Patricia Allene & Joseph Thomas Kirkley; siblings, Joseph Kirkley & Samantha Willingham. He is survived by his loving sister, Melissa Kirkley (Ricky Goodwin), Brother, Steven Bertram (Ashley); Brother-in-law, Greg Willingham; nieces and nephews, Jordan Blankenship (Colton), Matthew Willingham (Angela), Noah Bertram & Shepherd Bertram; and an abundance of family and friends, who will cherish every precious memory they shared with Tommy.
Tommy was an avid fisherman and enjoyed any day he was able to spend by the water. If he wasn’t fishing you could find Tommy enjoying his passion for riding with The Faith Riders. Charity rides were always something he looked forward to. The Faith Riders brought two special things together for Tommy- His faith for the lord and riding his Spyder. Tommy recently began learning how to play the guitar. He wasn’t very good, but had fun learning and practicing. On the weekends Tommy would accompany his sister, Missy, looking for the best Estate sale and yard sales. Man, he loved a good estate sale!
“No one will miss Tommy more than me and our Saturday Estate sales. Tell everyone I said hello, and until I see you again, I love you Bubba.” -Missy Kirkley
Visitation will be held at Ridout's Valley Chapel on September 20, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Croft Acton Cemetery.
