Tracy Champion

Tracy fought the good fight. She lost her battle to complications of Acute Myeloid Leukemia on October 15, 2024. She is preceded in death by her mother, father and brother, Gloria Fullerton Champion, David Joseph Champion and David Joseph Champion Jr. She is survived by her three children Brian David Arnold, Emily Arnold Parkman (Jason) and Halle Arnold Ray (Ryan) as well as her grandchildren Alexandra Arnold, Braden Arnold, Larkin Ray, Miller Ray and Mary Champion Parkman, sisters Michelle Champion Murphy (Brent), Susie Champion Andrews (Robert) and brother Tommy Champion (Leighanne).

Tracy was born in Mexico City and grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio. She attended St. Leos college and later moved to Birmingham, Alabama where she married and raised her family.

Tracy was a talented interior decorator and had an eye for all things fashion too! She was beautiful inside and out and her smile would light up a room. Tracy never met a stranger and made everyone feel special.

She was a devout Catholic and her faith carried her thru til the very end. We take comfort knowing she is in the arms of our Lord and Savior healed and at perfect peace.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday, October 21 at Saint Frances Xavier. Visitation will be at 11 am followed by a memorial service at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Saint Jude’s Foundation.
