

Vicki Collier Walker, 67, passed away on November 3, 2015. Born in Priceville, Alabama, the daughter of the late Alex Collier and Dixie Gurley Collier. Vicki graduated from Priceville High School in 1965 and Auburn University in 1969 with a BA in Education. She went on to receive two Masters degrees, one in special education and another in elementary education. Vicki is survived by her husband of 45 years, Tom, her son Justin (Ashley), her daughter Lane Robinson (Brad), and her granddaughter Elle Grace Walker. Vicki served more than 25 years as a dedicated elementary school teacher. She began her career at The Opportunity Center School for children with special needs and then taught at The Highlands School and Pizitz Middle School. She also pursued her artistic talents in flower arrangements, photography, and sewing. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend to all who loved her. Visitation will be Monday November 9 from 12:30-1:30 at Brookwood Baptist Church (3449 Overton Road Mountain Brook, Alabama 35223) with a Celebration of Life Service following at 2:00.
