Vincent Bordenca

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 72 years, Lena Latham Bordenca. He is survived by his children: Dr. Anna Bordenca of Huntsville, Dr. Charles (Marie) Bordenca of Birmingham, and Mary (Dr. Charles) Sabens of Anniston; six grandchildren: Dr. Mark (Amy) Bordenca of Atlanta, Christine Bordenca of Birmingham, Charles (Lindsey) Sabens of LaGrange, GA, Christopher (Kim) Sabens of Rockledge, FL, Dr. Elizabeth (Dr. Joseph) Liedhegner of Wauwatosa, WI, Dr. David (Rachel) Sabens of Sunnyvale, CA; by 11 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Lucille Consola, and by a brother, Rev. Charles J. Bordenca.

Visitation will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church on Friday, May 31 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. A funeral Mass will be concelebrated by Rev. Robert Sullivan and Rev. Joseph Culotta at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for prayers for the grieving and any kindness to a local charity.
