William "Bill" Roy Hickman

William Roy Hickman, age 74, of Homewood, passed away July 19, 2015. Bill was born January 28, 1941 in Sylacauga, AL to parents Roy L. and Pauline Robinson Hickman. He graduated from Auburn University in 1963 then worked in Birmingham as a Pharmacist until 2010. He enjoyed the outdoors and in his younger years spent time hunting and fishing. Bill was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and was preceded in death by his parents and sister Ann Hickman.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Pamela Collins Hickman; sister Betty Chance (James); children Billy Hickman (Helen), Alycia Gregory (Miles) and Janet Morris (Sam); and grandchildren Jason Hickman and Will, Katie and Abby Morris.

Visitation will be at Ridout’s Valley Chapell in Homewood on Tuesday, July 21st from 5:00p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover on Wednesday, July 22nd at 9:30 a.m. with burial following at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham.

In lieu of flowers memorials, in memory of Bill Hickman may be made to the Bruno Cancer Treatment Center in Birmingham.
