Dear Julia (and inevitably amazing family members):

We are constantly praying for you and your Mom and siblings to find the comfort and peace in your vast memories of your Daddy.

He is a part of all of you, as he "made" you! His character will be remembered, forever, to those that knew him. He was apparently highly revered!

Love and prayers to you and yours, sweet friend!

Mr. Matthews was an example for all of us at SONAT. To say I respected him is an understatement. He treated every employee with the the utmost respect and made each of us feel respected and special. I lost my Mom on Sept. 27, 2013 at 98 years old. She was one of Mr. Matthews biggest fans as was I.

Bill Matthews was the best example of anyone I've ever known of living life as a Christian. He was an inspiration to me. My prayers and thoughts go out to Weesa, Bill's family and Bill's friends. This is such a loss for our community.
