WATSON, JR., WILLIAM LAMAR WATSON, JR., WILLIAM LAMAR, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 27 at the age of 58. He was born on December 18, 1954, in Montgomery AL to William Lamar and Sybil Sims Watson who predecease him. He is survived by his sister, Sybil R. Watson of Homewood as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many wonderful friends. Lamar was a member of Avondale United Methodist Church where he helped with grounds maintenance. He enjoyed Alabama football, Cokes, music and talking with his friends. The family is especially thankful for the Blackwell's Way staff who loved and guided Lamar and ARC of Jefferson County. There will be a celebration of life at Ridout's Valley Chapel on Friday, August 30 from 4-6 p.m. Graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery on Tuesday, September 3 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be named to the charity of your choice
