Curtis and Carl, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother and my dear friend Abbye Jean. I appreciated her friendship during the years that we taught together at LHS. May God bless both of you and your families.

My dear friend, Abbye Jean:

She welcomed me at LHS, became my friend and helped me through those first unsettling years. I missed her when she moved and valued her friendship and my regret is that we lost touch as the years passed. She was a good lady, a caring teacher and a good friend.

Rest in peace, dear lady.
