Angelina G. Kearney, 96, of Spring Hill, FL and formerly of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Sat., April 14, 2018 at The Residence at Timber Pine in Spring Hill, FL. A native of Brooklyn, New York and raised in Northport, L.I., NY, she was born May 17, 1921 to Genero and Vencenza (Allegro) Guerrera. Angelina moved to the Sugarmill Woods Community of Homosassa in 1988 from Long Island, where she lived until 2015. She was a retired administrative assistant in physician’s offices on Long Island and she was of the Roman Catholic faith. In addition to her parents, Angelina was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William Kearney in 2009, and her children William, Patricia and Paul, as well as a niece-in-law, Ellie Sloane. She is survived by niece Madeline Labate (husband Joseph), New York: niece Virginia Barbaro (husband Joseph), New Jersey; niece Barbara Ward, Alexandria, VA; niece Helene Browning, Chicago, IL; nephew Edward Guerrera (wife Laura), New York and nephew Thomas Sloane, New Jersey, as well as a number of great nieces and great nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Fri., April 20, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 5030 Mariner Boulevard, Spring Hill, FL. Interment will be private.
