

Arnold Francis Willadsen, Jr., 91, of Crystal River, FL, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at his home. A native of Salem County, NJ, but raised in Penns Grove, NJ, he was born March 24, 1934 to the late Arnold Sr. and Marie (Roche) Willadsen, one of six children. Mr. Willadsen served his country honorably and proudly as a United States Marine from 1956 to 1958 and then lived in Pennsville, NJ, raising four of his children with his first wife, Bernice Jagers Willadsen of Pennsville, NJ. Arnie, as he was known to many, had a professional working life that had multiple facets. He enjoyed a long 30 year career with the DuPont Company for 30 years as a general foreman. He was very active in the Pennsville Township community serving as the Sewage Authority Administrator for 20 years. In addition, Mr. Willadsen served as congressional district aide to U.S. House of Representative Williams J. Hughes; he was a proud American and was very involved with and followed local, state and national politics. He also owned a driving range, Arnie and Jack’s, for 10 years. A Roman Catholic by faith, Arnold was an avid golfer and a member of various golf courses throughout the years. His passion for the game of golf led him to a number of memberships during his life, including Sakima Country Club in Carneys Point, NJ; Seven Rivers Country Club, Crystal River, FL and most recently Plantation Inn and Golf Club, Crystal River, FL. Arnold’s perfect day would be playing golf and competing in tournaments and enjoying light fun with his golfing buddies. He also loved playing golf with any family member, and spent many days teaching family and friends the fine points of the game of golf. He deeply loved all of his children and grandchildren and beamed with pride following all of their accomplishments. In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by two of his siblings; his sister Joan Kramer and his brother Francis Willadsen. Mr. Willadsen is survived by his wife of 32 years, Annelies G. Willadsen of Crystal River; children John Willadsen (wife Judy), Carneys Point, NJ; Karen Morris (husband Karl), Keymar, MD; Anne Dyson (husband Larry), Dover, DE; Joe Willadsen (wife Jaye), Holly Springs, NC; Deborah Constant, Homosassa Springs, FL, and Daniel Lasher (wife Heidi, Gulf Hammock, FL: sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; sisters Barbara Smith (husband Harry), West Deptford, NJ; Donna Willadsen, Mantua, NJ, and Sally Willadsen, Martinsburg, W.VA. A Catholic Prayer Service and Celebration of Life will take place at Macrini-Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, Florida on Tues., Aug. 19, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. with Deacon Mark Manko officiating]. Interment with military honors will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
