Arthur S. Ferguson

Arthur S. Ferguson, 79, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Tues., Oct. 31, 2023 at his home. A native of Elizabeth, NJ, he was born July 15, 1944, the only child to Scott and Hilda (Wester) Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson served his country honorably and proudly in the United States Army and moved to Homosassa 40 years ago from Scotch Plains, NJ. Art, as he was known to many, was a faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Homosassa. He enjoyed tending to his home, his cars and his garden and was a retired machinist by profession. Mr. Ferguson was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Luisa Ho Ferguson, on May 22. 2020. He is survived by his twelve nieces and nephews; Winston, Mario, Javier, Bey, Kim, Ivonne, Raul, David, Lizbeth, Angie, Kira and Mark. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 at 12:00 noon with Fr. J. Glenn Diaz, Celebrant.
