

Clair Robert “Bob” Morton, Jr., of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Tues., June 16, 2015 at Cypress Cove Care Center, Crystal River, FL. A native of Vandergrift, PA, he was born Dec. 25, 1935 to Clair Sr. and Claire (Cramer) Morton, one of two children. Bob, as he was known to everyone, enjoyed a professional life that held several facets, including owning his own gas station when he was young. He also held positions with Florida Power Corp. and worked for 17 years with Walmart Stores, serving some years as an department manager. Mr. Morton served his country proudly as a U.S. Air Force veteran for ten years and had lived in Homosassa for 48 years. Bob was a longtime member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, Crystal River, where he served as a councilman and a member of the choir. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Lois M. Morton, Homosassa; daughter Ronda Morton Miller and son-in-law Thomas W. Miller, Spring Hill, FL; granddaughters Jenifer Yorro (husband Nick), Hendersonville, NC; Mandy Aldrich (husband Jason), Spring Hill, FL and Melody Brooks (husband Jeffrey), Linden, MI and thirteen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Marconi. Friends will be recevied on Thurs., June 18, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL. Entombment service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 9:30 A.M. at Fountains Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Homosassa, with Rev.
