Curtis M. “Curt” Watrouse, 83, of Inverness, FL., passed away on Sun., July 29, 2018 at Munroe Regional Medical Center, Ocala, FL. A native of White Plains, NY, he was born March 13, 1935 to Curtis B. and Patti V. (Appleby) Watrouse. Curt, as he was known to many, attended the University of Connecticut , which led him to a long career in teaching the building of aircraft for Lockheed Martin as Program Manager, a career he enjoyed for 25 years. Mr. Watrouse served his country honorably for nine years In the United States Air Force, primarily in the post Korean War era, attaining the rank of staff sergeant. He moved to this area over 27 years ago and is survived by his daughter Valerie Borry and sons Kevin Watrouse (wife Amber) and Christopher Watrouse (wife Peggy); his loving companion Catherine Nack-Ruby; two siblings, twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Friends will be received at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. with a celebration of Curt’s life commencing at 11: A.M.
