Darlene E. Wines

Darlene E. Wines, 72, of Lecanto, passed away on Sun., March 9, 2014 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. A native of St. Paul, MN, she was born July 16, 1941 to Nels and Helen Pearson, one of two children. Mrs. Wines moved here 31 years ago from Clearwater and was a retired convenience store manager in Homosassa stores, particularly Texaco, Circle K and Kangaroo locations. Darlene is survived by her five children; Guy A. “Tony” Wines (wife Deborah), Inverness; William M. “Danny” Wines, III, Inverness; Tina Petrakis, Clearwater; Tami Beach, Crystal River and Billie-Ann Wines, Spring Hill; sister Sharon Autey, Minnesota; grandchildren Dimitrios “Jimmy” Wines, William “Billy” Wines (wife Celia), Sarah Seffern (husband John), and Joshua and Ami Collins and great grandchildren Hunter, Jaycee, Jonny, Gavin and one more on the way. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Wines, on October 9, 1991. Friends will be received on Fri., March 14, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa.
