
David Z. Snyder, 67, of Homosassa, passed away on Sat., July 4, 2015 at his home. A native of Lansing, Michigan, he was born Nov. 13, 1947 to Robert and Ida Margaret (David) Snyder, one of two children. David moved to Homosassa 15 years ago from Sugarloaf Key, FL, and had also lived in Cocoa, FL for many years. During his working life, Mr. Snyder was a contractor in residential construction and served his country proudly in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1969, pulling a tour in Vietnam. David was a member of Crystal River Loyal Order of Moose #2013. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 48 years, Denise J. “Denny” Snyder, Homosassa; son Jeffrey Allen Snyder (wife Saray), Sugarloaf Key, FL; his mother, known to all as Peg Snyder, Inverness, FL; brother Alden Lynn Snyder (wife Cindy), Port Orange, FL and grandson Jacob David Snyder, also of Port Orange, FL.
