Denise Gapczynski, 54, of Homosassa, FL, passed away after a lengthy illness on May 3, 2020 at Bayfront Health Seven Rivers in Crystal River, FL. Denise was born in Detroit, MI on August 22, 1965 to Gerald and Diane Gapczynski. Denise moved to Homosassa in 2007 from Harrison Twp., Michigan and soon came to love the Florida lifestyle. Denise enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but the joy of her life was her grandson Kaden. It was important for her to maintain lifelong connections with all of her family and friends even when she could no longer travel to see them. Denise is survived by her father, Gerald, and mother Diane Gapczynski of Homosassa, FL; daughter Ashley Flynn (John) of Homosassa, FL; grandson Kaden Flynn of Homosassa, FL; brother Bradley Gapczynski (Allison) of Clarkston, MI; niece Megan; nephew Michael; aunt Linda Waitkus (Donald) of Hudson, FL and aunt Barbara Turska (Barry) of Homosassa, FL.
