

Diane C. Diker, 77, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Wed., Jan. 7, 2015 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brookville, FL. A native of Milwaukee, WI., she was born Sept. 4, 1937 to Clarence and Mildred (Nelson) Henzler, one of five children. Diane moved to Homosassa nine years ago from Saukville, WI and was a retired cook for Port Washington High School, Port Washington, WI with 22 years of service. Mrs. Diker was a parishioner of St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, Homosassa, FL, where she served as Eucharistic Minister and Usher. Diane was also a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Saukville, WI. Mrs. Diker is survived by her husband of 55 years, Matthew Diker, Homosassa, FL; her five children: Matthew Diker (wife Kelly), Oshkosh, WI; Elizabeth Kersting-Peterson (husband Ross), Cloquet, MN; Michael Diker (wife Lucy), Greenville, SC; Tanya Ewig (husband Kevin), Milwaukee, WI and Diana Derbas (husband John), Covington, LA; sisters Kay Ticarich, St. Clairsville, OH; Lynn Petzold (husband Don), Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Sandy Witowski (husband Tom), Mequeon, WI and brother Kenny Henzler, Milwaukee, WI and her five grandchildren Catlin, Zack, Nathan, Jacob and Isaac. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, the late George Ticarich. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Fri., Jan. 23, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. from St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, Homosassa, FL with Fr. Ronald Marecki, Celebrant.
