Donna A. Alexander

Donna Anne Alexander, 76, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Sun., Oct. 16, 2022 at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL. A native of Hazard, KY, she was born July 1, 1946 to Jubal and Thelma (King) Bishop, one of five children. Donna moved here 35 years ago and was a retired secretary for the Kentucky Division of the Blind and was a faithful and devoted member of First Baptist Church of Homosassa. In addition to her father, Jubal Bishop; mother Thelma Igo and stepfather Winfred Igo, Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband Albert Alexander in December of 2010. She is survived by her siblings Kenneth Bishop (wife Barbara), Cordis Bishop, Janice Pratt and Richard Bishop (wife Marsha); granddaughter Laura Fowler and great grandchildren Trey Fowler and Destiny Padfield, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, her church family and special friend Carla Prisza. A Celebration Of Life at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL will be held on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. David Throckmorton of First Baptist Church of Homosassa officiating.
